House of Blues 2004

Berlin is a great band from the 80's. Of course when they were making albums I was barely born. I have to admit growing with older sisters it sure helped my knowledge of 80's bands such as New Wave, Hair Metal Bands,..etc...I was always fond of music from the 80s.

When I heard that Berlin was touring again I had to take advantage and go see them. With bands from the 80s you never know if they will come back for another tour.

So I was pretty ecstatic to hear that they were going to perform at the House of Blues for a reasonable price. When Terri Nunn came on stage she looked the same like if it was 1980 all over again.

The great thing about Berlin is that they interacted with the crowd in a BIG way=]]]. At one time she was walking and singing through the crowd. The one thing I will never forget is that she asked the crowd to come on stage. Only a few manage to do so and guess what I DID! I was rocking on stage and she got on her knees and sang to me "Dope Show" which is originally a Marilyn Manson song. To be honest that is one moment I will never forget.

Berlin was formed in Orange County, California in the late 1970s. During when their first major single "A Matter Of Time" came out Terri Nunn temporarily left and try to pursue her acting career and auditioned Princess Leila for Star Wars, but then Berlin signed to Enigma Records.
"Take My Breath Away" from the movie Top Gun became their best selling single in 1986.

Pharrell Williams

The thing that I admire about Pharrell Williams is his diversity. When I had the opportunity to see him live I took it. With most hip-hop artists and rappers when they perform, they usually have a big entourage to where I can hear everybody but the person I paid to see. Pharrell took the stage all by himself.

As a Rapper he sure does bring positive energy and hypes up the crowd. As a producer he has had great beats that have a funky/retro and catchy beats. Pharrell also works with great artists that flourish his distinguish style.

We all know he is a great lyricist but he's also a great producer and fashion designer. Pharrell has made a few fashion statements that people reacted very well to.Which by people know as "BAPE" =]]]
He has produced with artists such as Jay-Z, Britney Spears,Nelly, Ludacris, Mystikal, Mase,...etc

In the 90s Pharrell formed a grup by the name of The Neptunes with a close group of friends. The two breakthrough songs were in 97 and 98. One with "Mase-Lookin At Me" and N.O.R.E.-Superthug".

Pharrell was born on April 5,1973 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He met Chad hugo in the 7th grade and became well known good friends. Chad Hugo is also a part of The Neptunes. Pharrell Williams also has his own record label 'Star Trak'.
